Nayliana - "Nay Nay"

God has blessed Jonah's Journey with another member.  You may remember the 4 children that were placed last month.  It has come to the Mother's attention that this 5th child needed a Godly home as well.  We have found the family and little Nayleonah was place on Saturday, October 24th. She is 2 yrs. old and will be in very close contact with all of her siblings. Please continue to pray for this family and all the caregivers that are loving on these children.  It is so wonderful to see God's people giving of their time, treasure and talents to further His kingdom!! 

Abigayle Faith

Abigayle Faith was born on 10-13-09 at 00:51.  She weighed 6lbs. 13oz and was 19 3/4 inches long.  Abigayle means "joy of the Father". We all here at Jonah's Journey truly believe God has special plans for her life. Mom had previously named her Abigayle Iris and changed it to "Faith" at the hospital.  Her middle name is so meaningful for all involved with this journey.
 
 

Yo'Hinez Chrishaun Deon Woodard

was born into the Jonah's Journey family on September 22, 2009 at 12:41 in the afternoon.  We are so excited to share God's love with this Mom and little boy!  Mom will be released on October 28, 2009 so please be in prayer for her as she transitions into life again. 

UPDATE: 1/30/10  Yo'Hinez is currently with his Mother and doing well!  Mom is in contact with the family that cared for Yo'Hinez and they are planning to get together very soon! 

 

  God is doing mighty things through this ministry!!!  We here at Jonah's Journey are honored and blessed to have you all be a part of what God is doing.  Thank you, thank you, thank you for your prayers, love and continued support.

 

 Please search your hearts and listen to that still small voice!  Remember we are the body...we are called to be different...we are called to stand out...we are called to be HIS hands and feet!

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

"You mean I have to put up with that!?" There are those folks in life about whom the saying is true: "They are the grit out of which we are to fashion our pearl." But our great example in this challenge is Jesus. Think of what he had to put up with in his 12 disciples. Remember how transformational his patience and gentleness with them was. Can we dare to do less?

My Prayer...

Give me strength and patience, O God, that I may be as loving, gentle and patient with others as Jesus was with people during his earthly ministry and you have been with me. In the name of Jesus, my Lord and hero I pray. Amen.

What God is doing:
We have found that our God is truly the Most High, the Alpha and Omega, the Lord of all!!  We have had a little one born into the Jonah's Journey family and another placed.  There are several that have been placed this month and some that we are awaiting confimation of the Mother's decision for their babies. God is certainly giving His saints opportunity to show Crazy Love!!!  Thank you to all who have helped, donated, loved and prayed....the angels in heaven are surely rejoicing at the work of the saints in the name of the Lord God Almighty!!!  Praise be to God!
